Careless Reef
Known for its strong currents and rich marine life, including barracudas, moray eels, and groupers. The site features dramatic coral formations and is best suited for experienced divers.
Abu Nuhas Reef
Located near the Straits of Gubal, this reef is home to several shipwrecks and offers challenging diving conditions with strong currents and deeper waters.
Abu Ramada South (Small Giftun Drift)

Wreck Sites

El Mina
A sunken Egyptian minesweeper lying at around 30 meters depth, located close to Hurghada harbor. The wreck is intact and offers a fascinating dive with plenty of marine life around.
Carnatic
Although technically closer to Shadwan Island, it is accessible from Hurghada. This 19th-century wreck lies at about 27 meters and features well-preserved structure and abundant marine life.

Description: Part of the Abu Nuhas reef system, this Greek cargo shipwreck lies at around 24 meters. It offers an exciting wreck dive with penetrable holds and plenty of marine life.

Shark Point (Sha’ab Abu Nuhas)
Located near the Abu Nuhas reef, this site is known for occasional sightings of reef sharks. The dive features strong currents and is suited for advanced divers.
Small Giftun Island (Police Station)
